ANOTHER SERIOUS DISCLAIMER: I am not a doctor and this is not a substitute for medical advice. Do not implement anything of the following without consulting your doctor, or a suitably qualified professional.

After my post on the topic of psoriasis, eczema, and prophetic medicine, I thought to post another useful treatment, this time for magic that presents itself through bloating in the stomach, abdominal pain, and/or nausea, and a desire to vomit. Notice that I didn't name this post 'magic in the stomach', but 'magic and the stomach'. That's because I believe that one of the most misdiagnosed things in ruqyah is that the magic has been eaten. While I do believe that magic can be fed to a person, I also believe that this is less common than people imagine it to be. It has reached the extent that some ruqyah practitioners have no other treatment than to say the magic has been fed, and that the person needs to be forced to vomit, through an emetic. At the same time, there is - in my opinion - a legitimate reason why these cases are misdiagnosed, and that is because many forms of magic present themselves through bloating in the stomach, abdominal pain, or nausea. Many patients find a degree of relief from the emetic, and so this fuels the misdiagnosis that a huge portion of people in the world have been fed magic.

Notably, the use of a strong emetic is common among ruqyah practitioners from Yemen, although I don't think that they do so because they believe that everyone has been fed magic; rather, they see the benefit of treating magic that manifests itself through stomach issues through the use of an emetic, often combined with a laxative. Interestingly, I met a Yemeni ruqyah practitioner who suggested that this medicine that they commonly administer has much less effect on someone who is not afflicted with magic. It does not contain ingredients that are medically recognised as causing vomiting, but that the effect is much more pronounced in people who are afflicted. I haven't been able to source the recipe for the powder that is administered, so I'm not able to evaluate how true that is; I'm only told that the powder is brought from Yemen. What I do know, is that a strong emetic effect can be obtained from 4 teaspoons of Indian Costus (al-Qusṭ al-Hindi), administered in a glass of Zamzam water, but it's not something that I recommend.

What I would like to present here is an alternative to a strong emetic, but which will - in shā' Allāh - bring the same kind of relief to someone who is suffering from magic that is presenting itself through stomach pains, bloating, or nausea and a desire to vomit. The ingredients are very mild, and are rooted in prophetic medicine, so we hope that it will be better tolerated than the usual means of forcing a patient to vomit. Once again, I will emphasise that your mileage may vary and that I'm not a doctor, so please do consult a medical professional before using these treatments. I'll also remind the readers not to email me as to where you can get the ingredients from, although I don't mind googling that for you.

I would also ask you not to forget the people who shared this with me in your du‘ā. I consider it a blessing that Allāh has allowed me to meet a number of people with experience in prophetic medicine, who have helped me a great deal.

Treatment One

  • 1/2 kg of Honey
  • 1 tablespoon of ground Black Seed (nigella sativa)
  • 1 tablespoon of ground Meccan Senna
  • 1 tablespoon of ground Rhubarb (also called Rhubarb root powder)
  • 1 tablespoon of ground Cumin

Mix all together, then every morning:

Stir the mixture with a spoon, then bring a cup of water (Zamzam water would be best), and add a tablespoon of the above mixture to it, mix until the honey is dissolved in the water, then drink from it. Do this every day until the mixture finishes.

It is preferred to use ruqyah water, rather than water that has not been recited upon.

Treatment Two

Try mixtures which flush and clean the system. Search google for "Heavy Metal Detox" and "Parasite Detox" - there are a few simple regimes with juices, organic foods etc. They have shown to be a big help for people with jinn related issues that present as abdominal bloating/pain, and are generally very well tolerated.
